| Objective:To objectively evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Yushi scalp clustery acupuncture for treatment of post-stroke depression.Method:We collected60patients who suffered from post-stroke depression from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,and randomly divided the patients into two groups by random number table, a treatment group of30cases and a control group of30cases.Daily treatment was administered, one time per day,6times per week and4weeks for a duration in the treatment group which was treated with Yushi scalp clustery acupuncture. The control group with Fluoxetine hydrochloride for therapy,20mg, one time per day,and4weeks for a duration.We carried on grading to all patients with HAMD-17, MSSS and BI before treatment and after4weeks.We use SPSS16.0for statistical analysis.Results:l.The scores of all of the rating scales after treatment significantly improved as comoared with the scores of all of the rating scales before treatment in the both groups(P<0.01).2.The scores of HAMDã€MSSS and BI in the treatment group significantly improved as compared with the scores in the control group after treatment(P<0.05);the scores of HAMD and MSSS decreased in the treatment group as comoared with the scores in the control group(P<0.05);the scores of BI increased in the treatment group as compared with the scores in the control group (P<0.05),and the treatment group had no adverse effect.3.The total effective rate of anti-depression was86.7% in the theatment group and63.3% in the control group with a significantly difference between the two groups(P<0.05). the total effective rate of the recovery of nerve function was83.3% in the theatment group and73.3% in the control group with a significantly difference between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:Yushi scalp clustery acupuncture is a safe and effective therapy,which can relieve depression,promote the recovery of nerve function and improve the ability of daily life of the patients who suffered from post-stroke depression with no adverse effects. |
