Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Knee Osteoarthritis (Deficiency Of Liver And Kidney, Stuffed Syndrome) By Comprehensive Treatment Of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Objective:To observe the short-term clinical curative effect and drug safety on the knee osteoarthritis(Deficiency of liver and kidney and Tendons stasis syndrome) treated with comprehensive therapy of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM),which including Tenghuang jiangu tablet to take,Haitongpi decoction to fumigate diseased knees,and exercise therapy;aiming at offering a clinical evidence,a better plan;and at developing the advantage of TCM,improving patients’quality of life.Methods:Sixty cases of knee osteoarthritis.In accordance with the inclusion criteria,were randomly divided into two groups.The thirty cases in trial group were treated with comprehensive therapy of TCM that included Tenghuang jiangu tablet to take,Haitongpi decoction to fumigate diseased knees,and exercise therapy.The other in control group were treated with Sodium Hyalironate(SH) intraarticular injection.The course of treatment for both groups would last five weeks. After which,the observation indices collected before and after treatments would be compared and analysed within group and between group.Then,the efficacy would be evaluated.After two months of the treatment end,the follow-ups for both groups would be carried out,and relapse rates would be calculated.According to data of general safety indices such as respiration,pulse,blood pressure,body temperature, etc,the drugs’safety and side effects would be assessed,too.Results:After five-week treatment, compared with the control group,the trial group in relieving pain VAS score and ISOA score,and promoting the curative effect is superior (P<0.05,with significant difference).Relapse rates between the trial group and the control group:After two months of the treatment end,the result of follow-ups,P>0.05,without significant difference in effect,the relapse rates of trial group is the same as the control group.The general safety indices of two groups don’t read obvious abnormality,and two groups of all do not appear obvious adverse events.Conclusions:Comprehensive therapy of TCM and SH intraarticular injection are both able to reduce knee ISOA score and VAS score.While,the former in relieving symptom,improving the function and promoting the curative effect is better than the latter;In the relapse rates,the former is the same as the latter.In a word, the plan that comprehensive therapy of TCM treats knee osteoarthritis is characteristic of simpleness,convenience,effectiveness,better safety. And it is worthy of clinical popularization and application.
