The open-pit dump is artificial and tremendous loose deposits, its soil structure, vegetation, the form landscape patterns and the composition of the material are different from the original landforms, it is the mainly site of soil erosion in the open pit. After land reclamation, the Vegetation measures are the most effective method for controlling soil erosion. In this paper, it takes HaiZhou open-pit dump in FuXin city for example, and combines located field observation with laboratory experiments, based on systematically analyzing different parts of the vegetation restoration controlling soil erosion effect, it researches the character and influence degree of different vegetation type controlling soil erosion used AHP, the research shows: soil the difference of physical and chemical properties of different geotechnical mixed slope are significant, the difference of soil resistance to erosion and soil anti-erodibility of different vegetation coverage slope are significant. Though modeling about vegetation controlling soil erosion, it divides rank of damage of soil erosion, and the rank includes four levels. The result that geotechnical mixed slope, loess overburden slope and without land reclamation slope areâ…£, platform Amorpha fruticosa forestland, gravel slope, platform lawn areâ…¢, plmus pumila forestland and platform Robinia pseudoacacia forestland areâ…¡. It is clear that platform Ulmus pumila forestland and platform Robinia pseudoacacia forestland have better effect about controlling soil erosion. About the difference of different vegetation controlling soil erosion, and optimization plant population need to research further.
