There is a complex interaction between reclaimed vegetation and soil environment in mining area.In particular,soil fertility and soil moisture are closely related to vegetation restoration.How to realize the coordinated development among reclaimed vegetation,soil moisture and fertility to promote the improvement of ecological system is the core issue of ecological restoration in mining areas.Therefore,the Antaibao Opencast Coal-mine dumps in Shanxi Pingshuo mining area were selected to analyze the relationship between the characteristics of soil water and fertility and the vegetation restoration by the factor analysis method,the geostatistical methods and the establishment of coupling coordination model,the main soil factors that affected reclaimed vegetation and the coordination degree of soil water and fertilizer conditions and the reclaimed vegetation in current natural environment were discussed.The following conclusions were obtained through the research:(1)Based on the factor analysis and the coupled coordination degree of soil water and fertilizer factors and reclaimed vegetation data,soil fertility was the main factor affecting vegetation restoration in Pingshuo mining area,followed by soil moisture.(2)Descriptive statistical analysis showed the coefficient of variation of soil water and fertilizer and reclaimed vegetation in the study area were between 10% and 70%,which belonged to moderate variation,all indicators were in normal distribution.The soil water content increased with increasing soil depth in the 0-40 cm soil layer,and the change trend of soil organic matter and total nitrogen was opposite to that of soil water content.The vegetation growth well in the reclamation area,among them,the best growth status of tree was plot?,the coverage of herbs was the highest in plot ?.(3)The soil water content,organic matter and total nitrogen had significant spatial correlation,the spatial correlation of individual variables was very strong;The herbaceous coverage in the reclaimed plots showed a good spatial correlation,the spatial correlation of the remaining variables was obvious except for the stock volume in plot ?.(4)According to the spatial distribution characteristics of soil fertility using geostatistical methods,the soil organic matter and total nitrogen content had some spatial correlation,the spatial distribution characteristics of soil organic matter and total nitrogen in the reclaimed land of the study area were similar.(5)The coupling relationship between soil water and fertility and reclaimed vegetation was basically coordinated,the current soil environment can basically meet the needs of vegetation growth.The coordination stage of the two system of the reclaimed land in the south dump was the basic coordination,the suitability of soil environment and vegetation was better,the reclamation of western dump was in the basic coordination-vegetation lag.
