Eco-service Function And Its Evaluation Of Major Forest Types In Hunan Province

As the main body of the land ecosystem,the forest ecosystem is playing the pivotal role in the whole ecosystem,its service function value appraisal research is a current hot spot.It has the vital significance to achieve the sustainable economic and social development for analyzing and evaluating the forest ecosystem's service function.The purpose was to bring natural resources and environmental factors into SNA,provide reasons for Green GDP measurement.Based on the"Forest Ecosystem Services Assessment Standards" (LY/T1721-2008) issued by the State Administration of Forestry,material and value of eco-service function of major forest types in Hunan province were analyzed and assessed quantitatively by using the data of Huitong Ecological Station for Chinese Fir Plantation of Hunan Province and the investigation results of the forest resources of Hunan in 2007.Followings are the main results.In Hunan province,the total forest ecosystem services value was 512.539 billion yuan in 2007,that was 60.750 thousand yuan·hm-2·a-1.The totla forest ecosystem service value was about 0.560 times of GDP in 2007.The quantities of each category is:water conservation 29.140 billion t;soil conservation 30 330.100 ten thousand t;organic matter (11 587×105t),N(538.264×105t),P(172.495×105t),K(5218.051×105t) can be reduced per year; carbon fixed 33.939 million t;oxygen released 67.901 million t;nutritient accumulation N(30.889 million t),P(2.465 million t),K(14.482 million t);absorption of sulfur dioxide 1 471.706 t;absorption of fluoride 15.571 t;absorption of nitrogen oxide 50.621 t; detaining dust 216 939.733 t,production of negative ions 741.137 billion.The value arrange of each category is:water conservation 238.968 billion yuan,46.624%;soil conservation 41.838 billion yuan,8.163%;carbon fixed and oxygen released 108.628 billion yuan,21.192%;nutritient accumulation 6.327 billion yuan,1.234%;atemosphere environmental purification 34.596 billion yuan,6.750%;biodiversity conservation 81.244 billion yuan,15.851%;forest recreation 0.940 billion yuan,0.183%.The order of seven forest ecosystem service values were:water conservation>carbon fixed and oxygen released>biodiversity conservation>soil conservation>atemosphere environ-mental purification>nutri-tient accumulation>forest recreation.In 2007,the total services values of different forest types in Hunan province are as follows:Broadleaf tree>Pinus massoniana>Cunninghamia lanceolata>Pin-us elliottii>Populus tomentosa>Cupressus funebris>Eucalyptus tereticornis>Taxo-dium ascendens,Metasequoia glyptostroboides and Taxodium distichum.Services values unit perarea of different forest types are Broadleaf tree>coniferous tree.
