After maize seeding, people need to undertake chemical weeding assignments with human knapsack sprayer. Because of this, it scrambles for labor with maize interplanting, increases the into number, this makes wheat get more damage. Therefore, based on the existing maize interplanting machine, we design and develop maize interplanting and spraying combined machine. Maize interplanting and spraying herbicide can be completed at one time. In recent years, wheat and corn direct seeding and conservation tillage are popularized in most parts of the province, the relationship between farming season and labor is increasingly nervous, so agricultural production is needed to realize wholly mechanized urgently. According to the rural land and farm machinery operating characteristics, we design a small motor boom sprayer.Maize interplanting and spraying combined machine consists of gasoline engine, Gear pump, seeder unit, spray tank, spray beam and sprayer. Its dynamic is provided by the gasoline engine, the pump and seeder unit connect to the gasoline engine by belts and chain. The form of seeds metering wheel is holes combined-type, and the wheel plants two rows of corn one time when it works. Seed box and fertilizer box become one, and the whole is separated by a intermediate bottom. In order to alleviate slipping when the machine walks on soft ridge, we adopt caterpillar walk institutions. Herbicide covers surface which has been seeded immediately, because spray beam goes round to operator behind, it can avoid influencing pesticide effect by treading. The machine is simple in structure, and operation is convenient, it realizes multi-usage, saves manpower and material resources, and improves the production efficiency.The small motor boom sprayer consists of main frame hologram, spray lance truss, pulleys, diaphragm pump, pressure distributor, filter, spray tank and sprayer, etc. Tractor motive power output shaft drive diaphragm pump by card an joint, one part high-pressure fluid flow from the pump flow through filter, pressure distributor, finally, the fluid flow is atomized into certain width and uniform mist by nozzles. The other part of high pressure fluid flow back into spray tank to stir liquid. To reduce costs, facilitate transportation, on the basis of investigating crop cultivation specifications, we determine the sprinkling width is 8 m; spray lance truss is divided into three sections of folding. Manual control lifting up and down of the spray lance truss by pulleys, it reduces resistance as compared with the slider movement.These two models are completed prototype manufacturing, and we make some prototype performance tests, including the interplanting quality testing, spray uniformity test, the droplets size measurement test, sprinkling width measurement, sprayer flow measurement test, ect. Tests showed that the structure of the prototype is rational, and operation is convenient. The technical indicators are in line with the design requirements to meet the intercropping of maize and field crops spraying operations need.This two machines can further alleviate the tension of the rural labor force, improve the quality of the intercropping and plant protection operations, and enhance the level of mechanization of field operations.
