Studies On The Landscape Application Of Aquatic Plants In Changsha City

Waterscape is one of indispensable, very attractive element in Garden Art. Ancient and moderns in China and abroad,Aquatic plants are essential materials for waterscape in landscape design. The aquatic plants not only has the high ornamental value, but can also through the adsorption and the shift pollutant, the eutrophication material purifies and improve water quality, some varieties while satisfy the landscape and ecology function also have the economic efficiency and other functions. Therefore along with the people to the aquatic plant understanding's deepening, aquatic plants is also widespread gradually in landscape application.Pre-written thesis, the author has carried on massive work and so on material collection, spot investigation, picture photography,the thesis is based on investigation. Dissertation topics focus on the application of aquatic plants, and take Changsha as an example, attempts through summary, analysis, induction some questioncs on aquatic plants such as landscape and ecology, tries to find out the aquatic plant application some rules and ways, for the purpose of the rich aquatic plant the species multiplicity and the landscape multiplicity, to Changsha and other areas for the use of aquatic plants to create waterscape to provide some inspiration.The results were summaried as follwes:1. Elaborate resources and the classification of aquatic plants, environment factors to the aquatic plant growth's influence, aquatic plant's function, aquatic plant's landscape application, planting methods, maintenance and management and other issues, analyze three national best outstanding cases on landscape application of aquatic plants simultaneously.2. Through carries on the investigation to aquatic plant application and planting methods at forty-two places, summary, summing up the application of aquatic plants in Changsha City.Totally 35 species of aquctic plants were surveyed,which are belonged to 23 families,these plants consisted of 27 species of Emergent plants,2 Floating-leaced plants,3 Floating plants and 3 Submerged plants,most of them are Perennial;the colour of flowers is, the ornamental time mainly concentrates in May to September; the high of Emergent plants ranging from 0.2 to 2.2 meters. Through to the main aquatic plant application frequency's summary, discovery aquatic plant application is widespread, but unbalanced, newly built waterscape and the park green space application type is richer. Aquatic plants in general as a natural plant-type, cultivation practices so much; planting the form of natural-style planting, potted plants, plant in baskets, such as planting seeded.3. Take typical survey points in different types of green as an example, the basis of survey information and detailed analysis of collocation method, landscape effect and seasonal aspect analysis to Aquatic plants and Waterfront Plants, Obtaining four characteristics of the aquatic plants used in Changsha,which are applying widely;collocation and planting methods are various;the space of plants are continuous;as well as emphasizing ecological function,and there are six big deficiencies:"the types is not abundant, the lack of local and the wild aquatic plant development and utilization";"plant disposition has not manifested the succession, the winter waterscape is not good"; "the aquatic plant collocation method is simple and monotonously,the landscape lacks the identifiability"; "the cultural flavor is pale"; "the ecology research is insufficient" and "the maintenance and management is extensive".4. Aim at the current Changsha aquatic plant landscape building existence's question proposed that the aquatic plant application's plan suggested:"increases the aquatic plant types in landscape application";"combines with the ecological principle,enrichs collocation method"; "conjuncts the urban context, to increase cultural charm"and"enhances the designer and the related jobholders' professional level", provide the theoretical basis and the practicaly reference for Changsha, with a view to enhance and improve the urban waterscape to make deeper discussion.
