The experiment was carried out at the University of Science and Technology of China and Tobacco Scientific Research Institute of Guizhou Province in 2009.Reserch on growth, glandular trichome, carotenoid of flue-cured tobacco in typical tobacco areas of Guizhou. The findings are as follows:1,Effects of different soils on the growth of flue-cured tobacco at the same climate. In different soils at Longgang point, the height, width, leaf area and root volume of plant met S-growth curve model, they have significant differences. Photosynthetic rate and root activity was significant higher at the growth earlier period than the later; the activity of nitrate reductase and nitrate content decreased along with the growth, the difference was small among the soils; dry matter accumulation increased along with the growth, the difference was big among the soil. The effect of soil on growth besides the root activity performanced for Tianzhu>Weining>Longgang, other targets displays for Weining> Longgang>Tianzhu.the growth was best in the soil of Weining, Tianzhu was worst.2,Effects of climates and soil on glandular trichome density of flue-cured tobacco.Different soils at the same climate , glandular trichome density was biggest in the soil of Tianzhu than Longgang and Weining at Longgang point; It was bigger in the soil of Longgang than Weining at Weining point, it performance for upper leaves>cutter leaves> lower leaves at Longgang and Weining point; At Tianzhu point, glandular trichome density of the lower leaves was bigger in the soil of Tianzhu than Longgang, the cutter and upper leaves was bigger in the soil of Longgang than Tianzhu. The same soils at different climate condition, glandular trichome density of the lower leaves was biggest at Weining point in the soil of Longgang; Weining point > Tianzhu point > Longgang point at the cutter leaves; Longgang point >Weining point >Tianzhu point at the upper leaves. In the soil of Weining, glandular trichome density of the lower leaves was bigger at Weining point than Longgang point, the cutter and upper leaves was bigger at Longgang point than Weining point. In the soil of Tianzhu, glandular trichome density of tobacco leaf was bigger at Longgang point than Tianzhu point in each position.3,Effects of climates and soils on exudates of glandular trichome of flue-cured tobacco.(1) Different soils at the same climate, the content of exudates of glandular trichome were 574.67,214.83 and 91.96μg/g at Tianzhu point,Weining point and Longgang point. At Longgang point, the content of exudates increased along with the rising of leaf positions, various ingredients content was bigger in the siol of Tianzhu; the difference was remarkable. The CV of norsolanadione, rosinol andα-cembratriene-diol is 35.94%,33.66% and 45.74%; Cembranoids have no significant differences among the three soils. At Weining point, the content of exudates performance for cutter leaves>upper leaves>lower leaves, various ingredients content in the soil of Longgang were significant higher than Weining except forβ-cembratriene-diol; the CV of Cembranoids and cembratriene is 60.83% and 50.26%. At Tianzhu point, the content of exudates and various ingredients content in the soil of Longgang were significant higher than Tianzhu except for norsolanadione and rosinol; the coefficient of variation respectively of Cembranoids andα-cembratriene-diol was 60.83% and 50.26%.(2) Same soil at different climates, the content of exudates of glandular trichome were 339.36,294.94 and123.45μg/g in the soil of Longgang,Tianzhu and Weining. The content of exudates increased with the rising of leaf position in the soil of Longgang at Longgang and Tianzhu point, it performance for cutter leaves>upper leaves>lower leaves at Weining point; various ingredients performance for Tianzhu point>Weining point>Longgang point, the difference is remarkable; the CV ofα,β-cembratriene-diol,Cembranoids,cembratriene and solanone was 103.64%,128.46%,106.15%,87.01% and 81.94%. The content of exudates increased along with the rising of leaf position in the soils of Weining at Longgang point, cutter leaves> upper leaves> lower leaves at Weining point; The CV ofβ-cembratriene-diol and solanone were 106.12% and 64.34%. The content of exudates increased along with the rising of leaf position in the soils of Tianzhu at Longgang point, it is high at the upper and lower leaves; The CV ofα,β-cembratriene-diol,Cembranoids and solanone were84.06%,108.25%,88.03%,117.38% and 93.79%.(3) The content of solanone, cembratriene, rosinol andα,β-cembratriene-diol were higher in exudates of glandular trichome. At different Climate and soil conditions, the CV was 65.04% in the soil of Longgang and Weining, the CV was 97.12% in the soil of Longgang and Tianzhu, the CV was 18.74% at Longgang and Weining point in the soil of Longgang and Weining, the CV was 25.07% at Longgang and Tianzhu point in the soil of Longgang and Tianzhu. The effect of Climate on the exudates of glandular trichome is 3 times than soil.4,Effects of climates and soils on carotenoid of flue-cured tobacco.(1) The content ofβ-carotene was highest in the soil of Tianzhu at Longgang point, performance for upper leaves>lower leaves>cutter leaves; the content decreased along with the rising of leaf positions in the soil of Longgang; in the soil of Weining performance for lower leaves>upper leaves>cutter leaves.the content was 1.29 times in the soil of Weining than Longgang at Weining point, performance for lower leaves>upper leaves>cutter leaves.the content of the upper and cutter leaves was lower in the soil of Longgang than Tianzhu at Tianzhu point. The same soils at different climate, it performance for Longgang point >Weining point>Tianzhu point in the soil of Longgang, it performance for lower leaves>cutter leaves>upper leaves at Longgang point, and it performance for lower leaves >upper leaves>cutter leaves at Weining and Tianzhu point. The content was higher at Weining point in the soil of Weining, performance for lower leaves >upper leaves>cutter leaves. The content was higher at Longgang point in the soil of Tianzhu, the upper leaves was highest at Longgang and Tianzhu point.(2) There was a moderate positive correlation betweenβ-carotene and lutein of flue-cured tobacco leaves(r=0.9026**), the changes tend of the two targets were at same, but the content of lutein was significant higher thanβ-carotene.The CV ofβ-carotene were 34.15% and1 2.21% at different Climates and soils, the effect of Climate onβ-carotene is 3 times than soil. The CV of lutein were 44.01% and 23.45% at different Climates and soils, the effect of Climate on lutein is 2 times than soil.4,Effects of climates and soils on quality of flue-cured tobacco. At different climate, physical property and appearance quality were best at Tianzhu point, chemical composition is coordinated, result of sensory taste is good; the appearance quality and result of sensory taste slightly misses, chemical composition coordination and physical property is good at Longgang point; physical property and appearance quality of tobacco leaf at Weining point are situated between Longgang point and Tianzhu point, but the chemical composition coordination is worst. In three test points, the tobacco leaf of Tianzhu point performance for faint aroma type, Longgang performance for neutral aroma type, Weining point performance fo middle scent close to faint type.In the different soils, appearance quality is good in the soil of Longgang; chemical composition is coordinated in the soil of Tianzhu; The longth and width of tobacco leaf were big in the soil of Weining, the physical property and the chemical composition coordination is bad. The result of sensory taste was best in the soil of Weining, Tianzhu is worst; the difference is not big among the three soils.
