| Lagerstroemia indica is an important omamental trees blooming in summer. It has a lot of advantages, such as long florescence, many varieties, resisting poulltion etc. it is used more widely in garden. Lagerstroemia indica is planted widely in Shandong province. The study based on variety investigate and maked use of morphology and palynology to classify L. indica. Used grey evaluation system to appraise the fancypoints of L. indica and chosed good varieties. The main results were as follows:1.According to the investigation, there are 51 varieties of L. indica in Shandong Province and 5 varieties are not repoted among them. They are'Juanye Hong','Hongman Tang','Xiangying Hong','Zimu Dan','Aishegn Zhizhi Hong'. Many good varieties were found, for example'Hongdie Feiwu','Cuipan Jinwei','Xiangxue Yun'. They can be used breeding.2.Raised the the principle of classification L. indica, according to the principle of of Prunus mume which was raised by Chen junyu, Zhang qixing and Wang Xian's principle of L. indica. Firstly was source parent; secondly was plant type; thirdly was flower color; forthly was flower diameter.3.Finished palynology research about 24 varieties. The pollen of L. indica is N3P4C5, simple grain, isopolar, radiation symmetry. The form is subspheric to prolate. The equatorial view is oval and the polar view is triangle. The bud organ is 3 pit canals which run along polar and distribute equidistantly. See one or two pit canals form equatorial, while 3 pit canals form polar. The exine sculpt is cell ink, but their compositive diffence is remarkable, so pollen is reliable in classfication of L. indica.4.According to grey evaluation system about fancypoints of L. indica, the relevancy in 5 cultivar group is Sajin>Hongwei>Jinwei>Yinwei>Aisheng. This is corresponding mainly in Gardens. Some varieties are ranked higher, because of their unique character,'Chuizhi Zi'for example.'Baimi Xiang'is the only dulcet variety. It will give play to important effect in breeding.'Hongye Ziwei'is also important because of its leaf colour. |
