The study used two kinds of moisture content of the water hyacinth and cane stern,two kinds of moisture content of the napier grass and maize straw as raw material for silage,with three additives ,which are fermented green juices,cellulose and the mixture of them.Modulating two kinds of moisture content and three kinds of mixed ratio of water hyacinth and cane stern as well as two kinds of moisture content and three kinds of mixed ratio of napier grass and maize straw,purpose to ascertain the moisture content of raw materials,mixed ratio of raw materials,bio-additives and their interactions on the mixed silage quality of water hyacinth and cane stern,napier grass and maize straw,to determined the suitable moisture content of raw material,the best mixed ratio of raw material and the most ideal biological additive,which providing a theoretical basis for its production and utilization.Experiment one:Cane stern(moisture content was 69.03%)and water hyacinth(moisture content was 71.61%) were ensiled at three different kinds of mixed ratio,which were 3:7,5:5 and 7:3(short for 37MS,55MS and 73MS),and the only Cane stern storage(CSS),the control (CON)group,fermented green juice group(FGJ),cellulose(CEL) group and FGJ+CEL group were set in all mixed silages and CSS.Ensilaged for sixty days at normal temperature,the pH value,lactic acid(LA),acetic acid(AA),dry matter recovery(DMR),ammonia nitrogen(NH3-N) and other indicators were measured with three replicates for each treatment.The results indicated that with the ratio of cane stern increased,the ensilage quality to be better,namely 73MS is better than 55MS than 37MS;the only cane stern storage without additive also can modulate high quality of ensilage;three kinds of additives can significantly improve the mixed silage quality of water hyacinth and cane stern,adding MIX can get the multiplication effection.The silage quality of the number of 16 lever combinations(CSS×MIX) is the most superior,while in the mixed ensilage,12 lever combinations(73MS×MIX) is the most superior.Experiment two: Cane stern(moisture content was 56.38%)and water hyacinth(moisture content was 56.69%) were ensiled at three different kinds of mixed ratio,which were 3:7,5:5 and 7:3(short for 37MS,55MS and 73MS),and the only Cane stern storage(CSS),the control (CON)group,fermented green juice group(FGJ),cellulose(CEL) group and FGJ+CEL group were set in all mixed silages and CSS.Ensilaged for sixty days at normal temperature,the pH value,lactic acid(LA),acetic acid(AA),dry matter recovery(DMR),ammonia nitrogen(NH3-N) and other indicators were measured with three replicates for each treatment.The results showed that the test obtained the same conclusion with the experiment one;appropriate to ruduce the moisture content of raw materials can modulate the higher quality of mixed silage of water hyacinth and cane stern;appropriate to reduce the amount of cane stern in mixed ensilage.Experiment three: Napier grass(moisture content was 71.20%)and maize straw(moisture content was 71.20%) were ensiled at three different kinds of mixed ratio,which were 8:2,7:3 and 6:4(short for 82MS,73MS and 64MS), the control (CON)group,fermented green juice group(FGJ),cellulose(CEL) group and FGJ+CEL group were set in all mixed silages. Ensilaged for sixty days at normal temperature,the pH value,lactic acid(LA),acetic acid(AA),dry matter recovery(DMR),ammonia nitrogen(NH3-N) and other indicators were measured with three replicates for each treatment. The results indicated that with the ratio of maize grass increased,the ensilage quality to be better,in which the effect of 64MS is the best; three kinds of additives can significantly improve the mixed silage quality of napier grass and maize straw,expecially adding MIX can get the multiplication effection; 12 lever combinations(73MS×MIX) is the most superior in the mixed ensilage.Experiment four: Napier grass(moisture content was 59.30%)and maize straw(moisture content was 59.10%) were ensiled at three different kinds of mixed ratio,which were 8:2,7:3 and 6:4(short for 82MS,73MS and 64MS), the control (CON)group,fermented green juice group(FGJ),cellulose(CEL) group and FGJ+CEL group were set in all mixed silages. Ensilaged for sixty days at normal temperature,the pH value,lactic acid(LA),acetic acid(AA),dry matter recovery(DMR),ammonia nitrogen(NH3-N) and other indicators were measured with three replicates for each treatment. The results showed that the test obtained the same conclusion with the experiment three;appropriate to ruduce the moisture content of raw materials can modulate the higher quality of mixed silage of napier grass and maize straw;appropriate to reduce the ratio of maize straw in mixed ensilage has great significance in many areas for less maize straw but high number of napier grass.
