Sugarcane is one of the main sugar crops, also has the potential to be one of the bioenergy crops. It grows slowly at the early stage of sugarcane, there was comparative large space in rows, so sugarcane intercropped can take utilization of land resources more effectively, it can improve the soil physical and chemical properties as well. And it can ease sugarcane continuous cropping obstacles, realize more economic benefit and social benefit too. Two sugarcane varieties, YueGan 18 and YunZhe 99-91, were used as experimental material, soybean and potato were interplanted in cane field, the change of the sugarcane growth, soil nutrient and soil microbial flora were analyzed, the result indicated that:There was no significant impact on sugarcane growth and yield under interplanting. The study of sugarcane agronomic character under interplanting showed that the germination, growth rate, sugarcane average monthly growth speed and main stem growth were no significant difference from compared treatment, but the plant height of compared treatment in YueGan 18 was 19.7 percent and 19.3 percent higher than soybean interplanted and potato interplanted treatment in each, and the millable stalk of YunZhe 99-91 with potato interplanted was 16.77 percent lower than compared treatment. The weight of single stalk, sucrose content, sugarcane stem yield and sugar yield were no significant differences from compared treatment. It indicated that interplanted did not affect the sugarcane growth and sucrose content at the later stage.Sugarcane interplanting with soybean could improve chemical properties of soil. And there was no significant effect on the pH of cane field., it was still strongly acidic, but the pH raised 0.16~0.19 with contrast. The total nitrogen content of soybean interplanted treatment was 8.22 percent higher than compared, and 21.54 percent higher than potato interplanted treatment, it indicated that interplanting with soybean could improve the total nitrogen content of soil greatly. In addition, the content of soil organic matter, total phosphorus, total potassium, basic soluble nitrogen, rapidly available phosphorus and rapid available potassium were no significant change after interplanting. The study of rhizosphere microbe and enzyme activity after interplanting showed that the bacteria of tillering stage interplanted treatments were 46.77~68.9 percent lower than compared, and 11.69~49.6 percent lower than compared at stretch stage; and the number of fungi in interplanting soybean treatment was 38.95~112.1 percent higher than compared at stretch stage, and 21.81~43.05 percent higher than compared at maturity stage; At the seedling stage of sugarcane, interplanting potato treatment was 6.74~10.61 percent lower than compared, at the tillering stage was 52.98~53.45 percent than compared. And there was no significant impact on the activity of urease, acidic phosphatase and alkaline phosphatase of rhizosphere soil under interplanting at seedling stage and at tillering stage. But the activity of sucrase were significantly higher than others in soybean interplanted treatment, and the invertase activity of each treatments were almost the same at stretch and maturity stage.Interplant effects sugarcane soil microbiology community function diversity. Shannon index of the interplanted treatments improved 1.14~2.08 percent with contrast, but McIntosh index reduced 3.89~14.74 percent with contrast, and there was no significant difference on Simpson index in each treatments. The utilization of soil microbial carbon sources were different in each sugarcane varieties influence. Overall, the utilization of different carbon source of soil microbial metabolism did not change under interplanting. The DNA sequence similarity coefficient is lower in the microbial community of soil between interplanted treatments, and the similarity coefficient of compared treatments and interplanted treatments were relatively low, the similarity coefficient between soybean interplanted treatments and potato interplanted treatments were relatively higher. The research showed that there was no significant impact on sugarcane growth and yield under interplanting. Interplanting with soybean in cane field could improve the fertility of soil, and could change the diversity of soil microbial community function too.
