The Detecting Results Analysis Of The Heavy Metals (Lead And Cadmium) In Pig Feed

The detection of Cadmium in 200 samples of formula feed and the analysis of Lead in 500 samples of formula feed, premix and concentrate feed were carried out in a Province from 2007 to 2010. The factors that influence quality safety of Cadmium and Lead in feed of this province were gain. The results show that, the Unqualified rate of Cadmium and Lead in formula feed is 10% and 6% respectively in 2007,5.7% and 9.4% in 2008,6.8% and 10.2% in 2009,0 and 0 in 2010; and the Unqualified rate of Lead in premix and concentrate feed is 10.9% and 3% respectively in 2007,6.5% and 8.7% in 2008,8.3% and 0% in 2009,0 and 0 in 2010.The analysis also shows that, the Unqualified rates of Cadmium and Lead in feed for the piglets, grower pigs and finish pigs were lower than that for suckling piglets by adding too much mineral to the feed, Also due to the feed production enterprise is in a bid to improve the performance of live pigs such as preventing diarrhea, promoting growth and so on. The 1224# public announcement feed additive safety use specification published by the ministry of agriculture has been fully implemented in 2010 and the enforcement of national feed hygienic standard has been strengthened the additive amount of mineral in feed has returned to a reasonable level, the rate of determination of heavy metal residue (Cadmium and Lead) in feed has enhanced gradually, the status of heavy metal pollution for animal product will get fundamental improvement.Some methods should be put forward to solve quality safety of Cadmium and Lead in feed,foe example increasing the awareness, intensifying the propaganda, to create an atmosphere of producing, selling and consuming safety feed products. The feed production enterprise should increase production levels, the feed enterprise should increase toresearch investment and strengthen the transformation of achievement, check on the raw material warehousing and products delivery strictly to produce best quality and highly efficient products. Meanwhile, the feed enterprise shshould strengthen the safety inspection system construction for the feed quality. The inspection of feed products is a key tool to evaluate the product quality according to the standard. They also have to perfect creating and updating the standard for feed quality safety, and increase enforcement of the standard of feed hygiene.
