The community of Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica, Picea meyeri, Pinus tabulaeformis, Suringa oblate, Cornus alba were choosen in forest garden of Forestry Science research institute and east area of Agriculture University in Inner Mongolia. By using PC-2 solar radiation sensors, the UV-radiation value was calculated. The UV-screening efficiency was compared with. And using the Pearon correlation analysis method, the correlation between UV-screening effect to related characteristics, such as community structure, favonoid content, chlorophyll content, leaf structure. The results showed that:1. UV-radiation efficiency in sunshine is higher than in community. And UV-A efficiency is higher than UV-B all in sunshine and in community.2. Distinct weaking effect of UV-A, UV-B is achieved in the five communities, all reached 79%.There is not significant difference of UV-screening efficiency between Cornus alba and Suringa oblate. There are significant difference of UV-screening efficiency between Cornus alba, Suringa oblate and Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica, and Picea meyeri, and Pinus tabulaeformis; Meanwhile, there are significant difference between Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica, Picea meyeri and Pinus tabulaeformis.3. Due to thick Epiodermal cell of Pinaceae leaves, little favonoid content was excreted; Thin Epiodermal cell of Cornus alba and Suringa oblate leaves, but more favonoid content was excreted. Synthesizing Epiodermal cell and favonoid content, there is positive effect to UV-screening efficiency of community.4. During the three month of 7,8,9 in 2010, UV-radiation didn't produce significant effect to chlorophyll content.5. There are significantly positive correlation between UV-shielding efficiency and CR, and favonoid content. There is a significantly negative correlation between the UV-shielding efficiency and chlorophyll content, and ABH.
