Research On The Wood Plants Structural Characteristics Of Urban Greenland In Huhhot

This study made research on urban greenland wood plants in Huhhot city, investigated many factors including growth conditions, survival conditions, the number of trees, species composition, tree growth trend, the level of management, viewing of 36 communities chosen from four greenland typies of street trees, residential communities, functions parks and campus of Inner Mongolia Agricultural University. The results showed that there were 69 species in research sites, 57% of the total survey trees were broadleaved trees ,and bushes accounted for 31% of the total. 10 species such as pinus tabliformis,sabina chinensis,salix babylonica,sophora japonica,populus bolleana,syringa vulgaris were used commonly ,accounting for 80% of all green trees. The average diameter was 11.67cm ,and the diameter of 47.5% trees less than 10cm. Green trees distribution characteristics showed that only 13 types of trees were used in street virescence, tree species were seriously single, arbor and bushes ratio was 1:0.3, the application of bush species should be increased , and structural distribution of road trees were simple; specially, specification of residential trees was small;Used in Park and campus trees structure and ratio of application were more reasonable; While choosing species,species important value is quantitative index, it can reflect the ability of trees to adapt to the environment.The results showed that the rank of important value of virescent species were sophora japonica> populus bolleana >sabina chinensis>syringa vulgaris>pinus tabliformis>prunus triloba>sorbaria kirilowe>euonymus bungeanus>picea meyeii >prunus sibirica>prunus davidiana>salix matsudana>platycladus orientalis>forsythia suspensa>salix babylonica,the results provided scientific references to choose trees for virescence in the future.Based on the achievement and the practical experience of the research of urban trees and combinng with the garden science and ecology principles, the index for the assesment of urban trees were selected, which included three aspects ,the structure of a community, functions and the healthy growth of urban trees.Results showed that the tree density below 90 trees /hm~2 in 25% of the communities,too sparsely, the density structure of community was irrational.Richness and diversity of virescent trees were highest in the resident,but the appearance of high diversity of some communities was confused, the diversity of Xingfu resident and Zhaowuda Road was 0,and the appearance are too monotonous.
