In recent years, livestock and poultry breeding industry has been developed rapidly. It met people's needs to improve living standards, but caused the environmental pollution more and more seriously, which was result in animal wastes. In China, COD emissions of large-scale breeding industry has exceeded the total emissions of industrial and domestic. And the easy ways to treat animal wastes, like manure pile, always lead to air pollution, soil pollution, the release of greenhouse gases.Biogas technology is considered one of the most effective and the most promising way to solve the pollution of livestock and poultry breeding industry. It has been developed rapidly these years. Biogas project will not only solve this environmental problem, but also can achieve some economic benefits by the product. Biogas can is available for sale, biogas slurry and biogas residue are all usefully. Biogas As a clean energy, consistent with sustainable development. Jilin Province, as an energy-poor province, per capita proved reserves of mineral energy was only 13.2% of the national average. Because of being a major agricultural province and the rapid development of livestock and poultry breeding, there are plenty of biogas production raw materials. Biogas technology will help to resolve both environmental and energy problem. However, due to geographical and climatic reasons, this technology can not be popularized and widely applied.After developing for decades, biogas technology has matured and has been widely used in southern China. As an anaerobic bio-technology, when the temperature is below 10℃, biogas equipment can not work properly. Cold regions due to the long cold winter, some problem happened like biogas production rate and the overall efficiency is low. This situation limits the development of biogas technology.So, how to use and develop this technology in the cold region, is a pressing problem.Through this project we develop a biogas technology and equipment which is economical and usability in Chinese cold regions. By applying some insulation measures and heating measures, the biogas production system in cold regions could run throughout the year.We collected a large amount of data, analysis and design of the program to determine the production process. The system temperature protection, the application of greenhouse, biomass heating and other facilities, worked well. Instead of the traditional cement biogas digester, the reactor is made of steel, and designed the structure conducive to high production efficiency. The biogas system test run for one year, working well: insulation measures and heating measures can play a design effect, the average gas production rate 0.90 m3 / (m3 ? d). Through testing biogas slurry and biogas residue, it is proved that the process can be effective on the harmless and manure treatment resources.
