X organ-sinus gland system(XO-SG) located in the optic ganglia of crustacean's eyestalk,which is crustacean's endocrine regulation center, it is secreted and produce various hormones, including gonald - inhibiting hormone (GIH), molt - inhibiting hormone, (MIH),crustacean hyperglycemia hormone(CHH), mandibular organ - inhibiting hormone (MOIH), red pigment concentrating hormone (RPCH), pigment dispersing hormone (PDH) , and so on. These hormones have very close relations to crustacean's growth, molting, spermary and ovarian growth, surface color changes, blood sugar balance and so on, they are collectively referred to as crustaceans eyestalk neural hormone.In this research, we used chinese mitten crab(Eriocheir sinensis) as experiment material and measured protein concentration in the hepatopancreas and blood,digestive activites in the hepatopancreas ,the blood lipid and ecdysone levels of female and male crabs by eyestalk ablation in diffrent terms.1 The ablation of unilateral and bilateral eyestalk male crabs, the protein in hepatopancreas showed the same change trend, protein concentration rose during the first 15 days, then decreased on the 20st day, there were no significant differences with the control group. Eyestalk ablation could increase the concentration of protein in blood , however , on the 20st day the concentration of protein was decreased. Regardless of unilateral removal of the female crabs or bilateral eyestalks, and protein concentration in the hepatopancreas showed the same trend, the protein concentration increased in the first 15 days ,then decreased on the 20st day . There were significant differences with the control group. the level of blood protein concentration rose significantly (P <0.05) .they presented as single-peak curve ,maximum peak appeared in the middle of experiment .2 The ablation of the eyestalk in the crabs did not have significant effect to the pepsin and trypsin in hepatopancreas. The male crabs amylase activity increased significantly. The female crabs amylase have changed , but there were not significantly different with the control group. 3 The blood lipids of the male crabs decreased significantly in the first 5 days,followed by gradually increased.After ablation of the female crabs eyestalk,the blood lipid content was higher than the control group, maximum peak appeared in the middle of experiment.4 Unilateral resection of the male crabs eyestalk and bilateral ablation of female crabs eyestalk, the blood ecdysone content were higher than the control, they presented as single-peak curve ,maximum peak appeared in the middle of experiment .
