Therefore, great attentions have been paid to the techniques of converting agricultural waste into high-grade fuels. The technology of converting agricultural waste into straw densification briquetting of high-grade and high density has been lucubrated. It can improve rural living conditions, protect agricultural ecological environment, increase boorish income and promote agricultural sustainable development.At present, the related technique and equipment research of the multitudinous. briquetting machine is serious lag. There are lots of problems not to solve about them The present is primary biomass (straw) hydraulic pressure piston style briquetting machine, which has many deficiency. The machine was improved and optimized taking the Henan agricultural university HPB-III as example on the basic of practice. Therefore, it is very important to use biomass briquetting machine of solving the questions of briquetting machine. By the two month-long movements of the HPB-III in Henan four experimental units, the paper analyzed and designed a new briquetting machine HPB-IV. The main conclusions are as follows:(1) Operation experiments of the HPB-III briquetting machine have showed that the technology is successful and there is high commercialization promotion value .But some design and machining problem aren't perfect, over-all properties isn't stable. By analysis of the problems, we have found that the main causes are the high operation pressure, the unsuitable select material of the equipment and three is no experiment law of some parameters.
