The Lilium davidii var. unicolor is one of the characteristic vegetables in Gansu province, its bulb is gigantic, crude fiber is few,taste is crisp glutinous soft, sweet and delicate. Besides extremely high edible value and certain pharmacology function, Lilium davidii var. unicolor also has great appreciative value. This experiment take the lily as the research object in Hongsi village, Xiaokang ying country, Yuzhong country, designed three kinds of different planting patterns, nine kind of different proportion of Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium. Biological characteristic and the yield, quality of bulb were conducted to determine the practical feasible method and the measure for the scale planting for Lanzhou lily. The main results were:1. Film cover was the most effective method for increasing the yield. In 2003, the yield of Lilium davidii var. unicolor was 12956ãŽ/hm~2 in film cover, while was 10655ãŽ/hm~2 in ridge culture, the yield in film cover and level sowing increased 21.60% and 13.62% respectively than in ridge culture. In 2004, the yield in level sowing was 16858ãŽ/hm~2 and increased 33.20% than in ridge culture and 3.56% in film cover than in ridge culture . In 2005, the yield in film cover was 20293ãŽ/hm~2 and increased 25.07% and 19.80% respectively than level sowing and ridge culture. Growing trend is best under film cover, stalk was healthy and root was strong, the fresh weight of root was 6.73g, and increased by 46.94% and 52.61% than ridge culture and level sowing respectively.2. External quality and inner quality was increased in film cover, in 2005, the best bulbs were 22.8% in film cover and increased 11 and 7 than ridge culture and level sowing. The weight of bulb was 77.27g, dry matter was 32.56%, the thick protein and sucrose was respectively 27.01g/㎠and 99.08 g/ãŽ.3. N, P, and K can sharply increasing the yield of Lilium davidii var. unicolor at the moderate allocated proportion. When N,P was moderate level and K was high level , the yield was 28457ãŽ/hm~2 and increased 73.21% than in N,P was moderate level and K was low level the fresh weight of root was 12.57g, dry matter was 11724ãŽ/hm~2, N,P and K could improve external and inner quality, and when N,P was moderate level and K was high level,the best bulbs was 67.50%, the weight of bulb was 154.24g, the thick protein,sucrose and starch content of Lilium davidii var. unicolor was improved.
