Two trials were conducted to investigate the effects of dehulled expanded soybean meal in the diet with or without fishmeal for early-weaned piglets on performance, utilization rate of nutrients, immune function of weaning piglets. In Trial 1, 24 21-d piglets with similar weight (5.22 ± 0.09 Kg) were allotted into four treatments with 6 replicates per treatment and 1 piglet per replicate in a 2×2 factorial arrangement to study the effect of different processed soybean meal (conventional soybean meal and dehulled expanded soybean meal) and different dietary fishmeal levels (0%and 5%) on performance, utilization rate of nutrients, immune function and blood biochemical parameters of weaning DLY piglets during 28d after weaning. Diets in each treatment had the same concentration of nutrients..The results showed as follow.1.Dehulled expanded soybean meal could improve ADFI by 21.7% (p=0.137) , increase ADG by 35.99 %(p<0.10),improve conversion efficiency of feed by 18.13% (p<0.10) ,reduce diarrhea index by 31.81% (p=0.10) compared with conventional soybean meal. Fishmeal also had positive influence on the growth performance and diarrhea of piglets. The diet added with 5% fishmeal improved ADFI by 20.18%(p=0.158), ADG by 35.49% (p<0.10) and feed efficiency by 20.89% (p=0.055) , and reduced diarrhea index by 33.33% (p=0. 06) . Interactive effects between fishmeal and soybean meal were observed( P <0.05) for diarrhea index and G/F in this trial.2.Dehulled expanded soybean meal had a tendency to improve nitrogen digestibility and retention. Nitrogen retention was improved by 41.03 % (p=0.091)...
