The study researched the relationship between the spatial temporal variability of soil nutrients and soil water and the different banana growth stages by the method of traditional statistics and geostatistics in the normal management banana plantation.The results analysis showed:the data of the two different depth sampling of soil nutrients, water and the production in the different banana growth stages are in line with normal or lognormal probability distribution,and also accorded with a moderate variation,and reasonable sampling numbers were given under certain precision and credible level. the mean content of the 0~20cm soil layer in different growth stages of the N, P, K, Ca and Mg are greater than the 20~40cm soil layer, but the soil water content is opposite, avail-P content is rich, N, P,Ca, Mg deficiency. Mean soil nutrient content of different samples along with the advance of the banana growing process showed the same pattern.0~20cm soil layer avai-P, K, Mg coefficient of variation less than 20~40cm soil layer.Geostatistical analysis showed that the data of the two different sampling depth of soil nutrients, water and the production is a global trend-order or second order, the semi-variogram model can be used Gaussian model, spherical model, exponential model to accurately fit, the study attributes have a strong spatial correlation or medium spatial correlation. Sampling of the soil of the K with the actual terrain on the spatial distribution, with similar distribution--high-northwest,low-northeast. Ca, Mg, plant height, stem circumference with a similar distribution, showing the high value of the central and the low both north and south areas. The performance of avail-P high in the Northern but low in the Southern.Different growth stages of the sampling variability of soil nutrients with the same law. Stability in space and time trend of the growth on the soil of each sample was analyzed, and generate management zoning plan, the field can be used to guide the exact nutrient or water management. On soil nutrients and water the whole growth period of time stability analysis shows that: the 0~20cm stability of soil water> Mg> Ca> N> P> K; the 20~40cm soil stability of soil water > Mg> N> Ca> K> P. Comprehensive study on the correlation between the yield,growth traits and the soil properties.In addition, the use of GIS to different growth variables of N,P,K fertilizer applied research simulation. The study results can improve the effectiveness of soil improvement and soil nutrients management provided accurate scientific basis and foundation information.
