Investigation And Analysis On Planting Arrangement Of Urban Road Green Space And Square In Xi'an And Yangling City

Xi'an city and Yangling demonstration region lie on the center of Shaanxi province, and have the typical warm temperate zone semi-wetness continental climate. Xi'an is not only the capital of Shaanxi province, but also an important scenery-tour and famous history-culture city in China. It is necessary for Xi'an to have international landscape of urban road green space. Yangling Agricultural Hi-Tech Industries Demonstration Zone is excellent city on landscaping of Shaanxi province, its design modes of ornamental plant of street and square are very important reference to landscaping of other medium or small cities.On the basis of a large of related information, the virescence condition of roads and squares of Xi'an and Yangling were investigated. The thesis began with the notion, history and development of urban road green space and square virescence, and planting arrangement theory, then took seven places for instance,including North Street, Park Road South, Street garden near Jian Guo Men, Square of Bell and Drum Tower in Xi'an, and Green belt of Yangling International Conference Exhibition Center, Leisure Square and Tai Cheng square. Some indexes of value were used to value and analyze the virescence condition of roads and squares of Xi'an and Yangling. The indexes were as follows: landscape diversity, cultural meaning, seasonal sceneries, species and arrangement model. The results showed that road green space and square virescence types of Xi'an and Yangling were rich and various. However, there still had some deficiencies: 1. The species of landscape plant was limited, some plant using frequency were overabundance. 2. The gradation of structure of plant arrangement was too humdrum and short of change. 3. The planting arrangement in green belt was not right. 4. Lawn was primary in squares types, so most of squares had poor umbrage. 5. The characteristics of local culture showed deficiently. According to the problems, some advices and suitable landscape plant in Xi'an and Yangling region were recommended. The road trees have 21 families and 35 species, trees, shrub, and herb of flowering are 30 families and 104 species, plant with color leaf are 15 families and 27 species, in all 50 families and 166 species.
