Chilo suppressalis(Walker) is one the important pests of rice plant ,and it gived large academic losses to our national rice productivity .Asian stem borer is polyphagic and has 2-3generations on different host plants in one year .what'more ,the interactions between Asian stem borer and its hosts increase its genetic aberrance .This thesis using different populations of striped stem borer of Beijing ,Wuhan, Guangdong ,water-oats ,rice as studying objects ,was conducted from morphology ,biochemistry and molecular microbiology and made a preliminary study on the difference between the five populations of striped stem borer. The aim is to provide accurate cue for monitoring and forecasting of insect pest ,and at the same time find a new way for species differentiation and species evolution.Main results are as following:1. By Chilo Suppresslia from rice and water-oats all fed hostplants: rice and water-oats, we observed the influence of various hostplants on their growth development and reproduction. The results showed that different hostplants had significant influence on food consumption and utilization, pupae weight ,pupae formation, rate of effective eggs,eggs, adult longivity.2. we measured the effect of host plants on the activity of the protection enzyme ,the detoxification enzyme and digest enzyme of chilo suppresslia .The results showed that in 4rd and 5rd larvae, true choline esrerase of Chilo Suppresslia feeding rice was less than that feeding water-oats which was the 12.14 times and 12.00times to rice populations, in 3rd larvae, true choline esrerase of Chilo Suppresslia feeding water-oats which was the0.29 times to rice was bigger than that feeding rice ; in 5rd larvae,carboxylesrerase of Chilo Suppresslia feeding rice was bigger that feeding water-oats which was the 2.29 times to rice populations,in 3rd and 4rd larvae, carboxylesrerase of Chilo Suppresslia feeding water-oats which was the0.69 times and 0.54times to rice was bigger than that feeding rice ; in 3rd larvae, superoxide dismutase and catalase of Chilo Suppresslia feeding rice was smaller than that feeding water-oats ,in 4rd and 5rd larvae, superoxide dismutase and catalase of Chilo...
