Soil animals, the constituents of terrestrial ecosystem, are important consumers and special decomposers, and they are unusually significative to ecosystem. Study on community ecology of soil animals, viz. study on ecogeography of soil animal, is the impotant component of the study on global terrestrial ecosystem.Land-use influences microbial community composition and carbon(C) and nitrogen(N) dynamics. Land-use includes a suite of cultural practices, vegetation ,and associated soil characteristics. The distribution features of soil animals were investigated along a gradient of increasing intensity of soil disturbance with similar soil type in the Shapingba district of Chongqing. Four gradient included greenbelt, boscage, grassland and GeLe mountain forest park.During the period of research, 20121 individual faunas belonging to 33 genera are collected. The genus in forest park are most abundant, the number in grassland are most abundant. The genus and number of individuals is up tu maximum in October of 32 genera and 7236 ones, down to minimum in August of 27 genera and 3948 ones. In grassland ,30 genera of soil animals are collected, which are less than those in forest park. In this land use type the number of individuals maximum in October ,down to minimum in January, the number of genera up to maximum in October ,down to minimum in April and August. The number of individuals and genus of soil animals in greenbelt of 2448 ones and 24 kinds, which is the smallest in four land use types, and the number of individuals reaches maximum in January, minimum in August. In greenbelt ,the dominant genera are Nematode and Araneae, have not special genera. In boscage and forest park ,the dominant genera are Nematode, Opiliones are the special genera of forest park, In grassland ,the dominant genera are Nematode and Enchytraeidae. The dominance index of soil community in total Shapingba district is the highest in greenbelt except October. The evenness index of the communities is the highest in forest park except April, and the evenness in another three communities not having obvious difference. The diversity index have obvious rules, the diversity index of forest park is the highest ,and the diversity index of greenbelt is the smallest. Among four gradient which stands for four different intensity of soil disturbance, the composition of soil animals are most similar between greenbelt and boscage.
