Ultramicro-pulverization technology was developed rapidly in recent. It has been gradually adopted in the processing of Chinese materia medica and appeared its special advantage. In order to offer scientific testify for the application of Ultramicro-pulverization in the preparation of Chinese materia medica, this research investigated the effects of Ultramicro-pulverization on Huanglian jiedusan' Pharmacokinetics and bacteriostasis effects.Studies on the ultra-fine power and conventional fine power of Huanglian jiedusan were carried out as fellow:1. The rabbits were randomly divided into two groups, both groups have five rabbits, the ultra-fine powerof Huanglian jiedusan was given to the first group orally, the conventional fine power of Huanglian jiedusan was given to the second group orally. Both at the dose of 4g· kg-1. The bloods were collected at scheduled time after oral administration from vein of neck. Serum concentration of the main effective component—baicalin, berberine, geniposide were detected using HPLC and concentration-time data was dealt with PKS pharmacokinetics software. 2. The pilot study on pharmacodynamics of HLJDS' ultra-fine power was carried out using Bacteriostasis in vitro method.The mean plasma concentration-time curves of baicalin, berberine,geniposide were obtained after giving the ultra-fine power of Huanglian jiedusan and the conventional fine power of Huanglian jiedusan to rabbits respectively.(1)Both the concentration-time curves of baicalin after ig administration to rabbits were accorded to two-compartment open model, and the pharmacokinetic parameters of baicalin of the ultra-fine power were: A(0.990) μ g/ml, α (0.271) 1/h, B(0.171) μ g/ml, β(0.0819) 1/h,Ka(0.497) 1/h,t1/2α (2.556) h, t1/2β (8.46) h, AUC0→∞ (3.401 ) μg·ml-1·h, Vd/F (6.752 ) L.kg-1, Tpeak (3.005 ) h, Cmax ( 0.311 ) μ g/mL; The pharmacokinetic...
