The experiment were conducted to study the effect of yeast copper with different dosage and CuSO4(250mg/kg)on the growth performance and immunity of piglet in order to find the suitable yeast copper dosage.The completed random of single factor was introduced to this experiment. 24 piglets (aged 7 weeks) were randomly divided into 4groups with 6 animals per group. The feed was provided 3 times daily and water was available ad libitum. The experiment was conducted for 28 days, including a 7 day adaptation period and a 21 day treatment period. 4 diets, including one control (CuSO4,250mg/kg) and 3 treatment diets (yeast copper, 10mg/kg,50mg/kg,100mg/kg). The weight was measured on the first and last day of the treatment period. The feed taken and diarrhea rate of each piglet was written down in the treatment period to study the growth performance. The fresh blood was got on every first day of every week of the treatment period from the front of vein in order to analyze immune function and enzyme activity .On the day following the termination of the treatment period, 2 piglets were killed from each group. Tissue samples were taken immediately after the opening of abdomen for copper content.The results of the experiment indicated there was no significant difference in average daily gain, initiate weight and end weight among each groups (P>0.05) . Compared the experimental group 2 with the control group, there was the similar effect on growth performance, the experimental group 2 increased by 5.11% in average daily gain, by 0.32% in average daily feed, and reduced by 0.04% in feed/gain. Although the experimental group 2 was better effect than the control group on growth performance, there was no significant difference. The more yeast copper was given, the better growth performance would get.The faces copper of the control group was 6.39times,5.52times,2.73times than that of the experimental group 1,2 and 3 ,respectively. The liver copper of the experimental group 1 and 2 were both 2.8mg/kg, the control group was 2.55times,2.55times,2.31times than that of the experimental group1,2 and 3 ,respectively. The kidney copper of the control group was 1.81 times,1.68times, 1,77times than that of the experimental group 1 ,2 and 3 ,respectively. According to the experiment, the content copper in tissue was following, hair > liver > kidney > bone > blood.The stimulate index was the lowest on 8th week of piglets.
