In order to effectively prevent and control the occurrence and prevalence of foot and mouth disease(FMD) in swine farms, we studied on the immunization procedure of the foot and mouth disease as well as the feasibility of the simultaneous immunization with the foot and mouth disease vaccines and classical swine fever vaccines. In this research, thirty-five sows were randomly divided into seven groups based on different immunization doses, administrations, and times (group 1: inoculated 2mL inactived vaccines before breeding , group 2: inoculated 2 mL inactived vaccines by houhaixue before breeding, group 3: inoculated 1mL inactived vaccines by houhaixue before breeding, group 4: inoculated 3 mL inactived vaccines by intramuscular administration before breeding, group 5 :inoculated 1 mL inactived vaccines by houhaixue 45 d before farrowing, group 6: inoculated 1 mL inactived vaccines by houhaixue before breeding and 45 d before farrowing, group 7: inoculated 1 mL inactived vaccines by dhouhaixue 45 d and 30 d before farrowing respectively ). serum was separated from ears' intravenous blood at the time of inoculating ,30 d and 45 d after vaccination,45 d and 30 d before farrowing respectively. The antibody efficacy of the samples were examined by means of liquid-phase blocking enzy-linked immunosorbent assay (LPB-ELISA),which is recommended by the OIE. The results was as follows: all kinds of sows could be induced protective levels of antibody. From the view of vaccination doses, the difference between group 3 and group 2 is not significant (P>0.05), while Group 4 is better than Group 1, the difference between groups is very significant (P<0.01); From the view of different administrations, the group 3 is better than the group 1, the difference is very significant between groups (P<0.01),while the difference between Group3 and Group 4 is not significant(P>0.05). the group 2 is better than the group 1 the difference between group 2 and group 1 is very significant(P<0.01), 1mL, 2mL inoculated by houhaixue and 3 mL group inoculated by intramuscular administration are not different(P>0.05). In a breeding cycle, the difference between single and twice vaccination is not...
