Research On The Relations Between Apple Products And Meteorological Conditions In Shannxi Province

Shaanxi Province is one of important apple industrial bases in our country and the only aristogenesis area of completely measuring up to seven meterological indexes. The area of apple plantation reaches up to 6,300 thousands mu and the yield of apple is more than 6,000 thousands ton which account for 27% of total yield of our country and 10% of total yield of the whole world at present. Meteorological elements are important climate and ecological factors which influence the yield and quality of apple. Meteorological environments in the growth periods of apple vary with global climate warming, for example, the frequency of meteorological disaster increases and insect pest caused by meteorological conditions have also changed. In order to impel the apple industry to adapt to the trend of climate change, we must study the influence of meteorological factors and meteorological disasters on the growth, yield and quality of apple and make the corresponding countermeasures. they are as follows:(1) To study thoroughly the effect and corresponding countermeasures of meteorological conditions, meteorological disasters on apple production, yield and quality.(2) To study the relations between apple industry and climatic ecological circumstance ,which has important actual value and profound significance in excavating climatic resource potency, alleviating meteorological disasters hazard, developing apple industry getting to the purpose of high quality and high-yielding, enhancing competitive power of shaanxi market and obtaining the high economic benefits.Focusing on the practical demand of the development of apple industry in Shaanxi Province, we studied fully the meteorological conditions, meteorological disasters, insect and pest, plantation climatic zoning, the meteorological disaster and pest predication and so on. The studied results play an important role in the meteorological service of apple industry.According to the climatic character of Shaanxi Province, the appropriate meteorological indexes in the phonology of apple in Shaanxi province were obtained by analyzing the phonological observation data of apple in the Weibei apple base in Shaanxi province and combining the practical experiences in the apple bases in the world. These indexes have been used widely in the meteorological service of apple industry.
