Research Of Diagnosis And Prevention Technology Against Diarrhea Of Yak On MAQU Country

MAQU country is lying in the southwest of GANNAN autonomy state and east of QINGHAI-Tibet Plateau. Since 1995 year, a kind of infectious disease began to spread in yaks in CAIRIMA and QIHAMA country. Diseased yaks represent syndrome of fever, anorexia, rhino rhea, cough, debility, bloody stool, or debaucjed on alimentary canal mucous membrane etc. The amount of diseased yaks was rapidly increased; epidemic-stricken area was gradually enlarged to all the country in Maqu County after 2000. The most incidences reached to 14.10% in 2001. Native farmer call it"LAXI disease". So a team, formulated by animal epidemic prevention general station of GANSU province, carried through investigation of epidemiology. And, diagnosed the disease based laboratory test etc.Epidemiology characteristic, clinical symptom and pathological change are found out through Investigation of epidemiology. LAXI disease Spread in yaks in MAQU country. Seasonality and locality are its obvious peculiarity.Pathogeny was found, distinguished from other diseases, which represent similitude symptoms, and diagnosed the disease based laboratory test, investigation of epidemiology, symptoms, pathological change, test of prevention and cure, blood routine examination, FA, ELISA, etc. LAXI disease is caused by bovine viral diarrhea- mucosal disease virus(BVD-MDV)。BVD-MDV was inspected with hogcholera antibody marked by fluorescein for the first time, and prevention BVD-MD by inoculating hog cholera attenuated vaccine. Incidence of BVD-MD and mortality are both decreased through generalizing complex prevention and control technology.
