The technology and integration of RS and GIS are discussed for their inherent meaning and relationship to each other. The technique of MapX ComGIS which used in RS and GIS integration is been presented. We discussed the RS and GIS integration mainly in three following parts. First; water engineering trenches update based on the remote sensing image. The GIS datum and RS datum were showed in the system synchronously. Geographical elements in the map are updated based on the remote sensing image. Second: remote sensing interpretation information applied to the system. Using GIS analytic function makes RS datum lively. Third: the GIS analytic function accomplished by importing theRS evapotranspiration datum. Datum shared by GIS software and RS software has achieved. Research of this paper based on YanJi basin of XinJiang. The result of research on RS and GIS integration has been applied. The integrated secondary development technology of MapX and PowerBuilder has been used in the design and exploitation process of the agricultural engineering information system. The system has been successful designed. Designing agricultural engineering information system by GIS and RS integrated technique is very resultful. It can not only bring accurate water and soil information of the basin but also bring effective management and supervisement from both macroscopical and microcosmic parts which using RS image superposition. This paper focuses on RS and GIS Integrated Technique which used in the agricultural engineering information system. It can be useful reference for the domain of research work.
