The regression relationship between the digestible energy and varies matters of soybean protein supplements which were investigated with the chemical and enzymic method were discussed in order to establish the regression equation. The method evaluating digestible energy of soybean protein supplements was established. It would provide modern technique for effect energy determination in nutrient requirements of pigs.Exp1:The relationship between the digestible energy and Nutritional matter, Non-nutritional matter were investigated in order to study the feasibility to predict the DE in soybean protein supplements with chemical composition. Eight Duroc×Landrance×Largewhite castrate male pigs which were about 35 kg initial body weight were sorted according to Two 4×4 Latin Square design. The DE of 8 soybean protein supplements were determined by difference method in which the ratio of tested feedstuff to basal diet was 35 to 65. The factors and models for predicting the DE in soybean protein supplements were selected with correlation relationship between DE and NM, NNM. The result showed that, there were significantly correlation between DE and ADF(r=-0.98),NDF(r=-0.87),CF (r=-0.88)and ASH(r=-0.73), but the simple correlation was not significant between DE and GE(r<0.40,P>0.05).According to the results of path analysis , the direct effect of ADF to DE was more significantly than NDF to DE, but they were not significant direct correlation between DE and CF,ASH and CP. However, the indirect effect of CF to DE can be accounted by ADF and NDF.ADF is the first factor in the model for the DE estimation of soybean protein supplement, but NDF was the less important one. The optimum regression equation of estimate the DE of soybean protein supplement were:①DE(MJ/kg DM)=23.17-95.21×ADF(R~2=0.952, RSD=0.374, P<0.01)②DE(MJ/kg DM)=22.95-72.70×ADF-9.97×NDF(R~2=0.991, RSD=0.162, P<0.01) Those two models were tested with reported experimental data, and showed that the estimation precision could be used for quantitative determination.Exp 2: The method which were established by Boisen and Fernandez(1997)were used to evaluate the IVDE,IVDMD and IVOMD of soybean protein supplements. The correlation between IVDE,IVDMD,IVOMD and DE were analysis to establish the regression equation. The result of correlation analysis showed that: there were significantly correlation between DE and IVDE,IVDMD,IVOMD. The regression equation of estimate the DE of soybean protein supplement were:①Y(MJ/Kg)=0.97×IVDE(MJ/Kg)+0.9019(R~2=0.998, RSD=0.084, P<0.01)②Y(MJ/Kg)=0.816×IVDMD(%)-59.614 ( R~2= 0.8905,RSD=0.671, P<0.01)③Y(MJ/Kg)=0.6387×IVOMD(%)-44.045( R~2= 0.8563, RSD=0.803, P<0.01)...
