Studies On Digestible Energy Value Of Degossypolized Cottonseed Protein For Swine

This study aimed to evaluation of the digestible energy value and the predicting model of degossypolized cottonseed protein in swine. Surveyed and collected11representative samples of degossypolized cottonseed protein from different manufacture factory after considering production area,factories production,cottonseed sources and production process in china. The proximate composition and amino acid contents of11degossypolized cottonseed protein samples were analyzed.12Duroc x Landrance x Largewhite castrate male pigs with32.0±2.3kg initial body weigt avoirdupois were sorted according to Tow6x6Latin Square design.The diets includes1kinds of basic diet and11trial diets which were consisted of a certain proportion of degossypolized cottonseed protein substitution basic diet, replacement level of18%.The digestible energy of11degossypolized cottonseed protein were determined by total feces collection method and difference method.On the basis of the correlation between digestible energy value and proximate composition of degossypolized cottonseed protein,established the regression equation. Results of the study showed that:1The proximate composition of degossypolized cottonseed protein is DM (%),92.01±1.21; EE (%),2.75±0.69; CP (%),51.24±1.87;CF (%),7.38±2.21;ADF (%),9.39±3.06;NDF(%),18.19±5.36;NFE(%),24.31±2.10;SCHO(%),21.48±5.47; Ash (%),6.34±0.32; GE (MJ/kg),16.42±0.43;FG (mg/kg),360±43。11essential amino acids contents were:Lys (%),2.10±0.10; Met (%),0.73±0.03; Trp (%),0.62±0.03; Thr (%),1.60±0.07; Ile (%),1.56±0.06; Leu (%),2.90±0.12; Phe (%),2.76±0.11; Val (%),2.22±0.08; Arg (%),6.06±0.27; His (%),1.43±0.06; Cys (%),0.85±0.04。2degossypolized cottonseed protein for pigs the digestible energy value(as-fed basis) were11.67±0.82MJ/kg.There were no significantly different for digestible energy value of degossypolized cottonseed protein produced by different sources of cottonseed for swine.3The best predicting models(as-DM basis) of degossypolized cottonseed protein for swine were DE=15.40-0.27ADF (R2=0.91,RSD=0.27), DE=14.88-0.29ADF+0.25EE (R2=0.94,RSD=0.22); The best predicting factor was ADF.
