By the method of Gai Junyi, the joint segregation analysis of the major gene pluspolygene mixed inheritance model of quantitative trait was conducted to study theinheritance of 10 major traits in micro-endosperm super-high oil corn. The sixgenerations, P1, F1, P2, B1, B2 and F2, from each of two crosses were used in this study. Theresults as follows:(1)Studies on the major gene plus polygene inheritance of kernel percent oil.The inheritance of kernel percent oil in two crosses fitted the model of two majorgenes plus polygenes. Two crosses had the highest selection efficiency in F2.(2)Studies on the major gene plus polygene inheritance of yield traits.The inheritance of ear length in two crosses fitted the model of polygenes. Twocrosses had the highest selection efficiency in F2.The inheritance of ear diameter in cross I fitted the model of one major gene pluspolygenes, which had the highest selection efficiency in B1. Other traits didn't have the same inheritance models in the two crosses.
