In the research, organic zinc were used to conducted to characterize chemically, and weaning piglets were used as animal models to study the effect of supplemental organic zinc levels in the diet with high oxide zinc on growth performance, health status, serum biochemical indices, tissue mineral concentrations and gut morphology.Mineral concentrations, amino acid contents, structural characteristics, and complex quotients (Q_f) of Availa-Zn was measured by IRIS Intrepid II emission spectrophotometry, HPLC, infrared spectroscopy, and polarographic method. The results showed that, Zn concentrations of organic zinc was about 12.14%, amino acid content was about 38.86%, It had characteristic peaks of complexed Zn and showed weak complex strength. The following experiement a total of 144 Landrace×Large white weanling piglets (28±2d) were randomly divided into to 3 groups, each group contained eight replicates with 6 piglets per replicate (half male and half female), The piglets on the control treatment were fed with the basal diet supplemented with 2000 mg/kg Zn as ZnO, and the two experimental treatments with the control treatment diet supplemented with 40 or 60mg/kg Zn as organic zinc. The experiment lasted for 28 days .The experiment was conducted to study the effect of supplemental organic zinc levels in the diet with high oxide zinc on growth performance, health status, serum biochemical indices, tissue mineral concentrations and gut morphology in weanling piglets. The results showed that the addition of 40 or 60mg/kg Zn as organic zinc improved (P<0.05) average daily gain (increased by 9.87% or 20.4%) , average daily feed intake (increased by 5.09% or 10.4%) and feed/gain (decreased by 4.29% or 8.59%) comparing to the control treatment. The addition of organic zinc decreased (P<0.05) the diarrhea rate, increased (P<0.05) hair coat score in d 14(increased by 8.82% or 10.29%), the addition of 60 mg/kg Zn as organic zinc improved (P<0.07) zinc and copper concentrations in liver(increased by 41.46% or 54.55%), copper concentrations in serum(increased by 27.51%) and calcium concentrations in pancreas(increased by 20.00%) , The addition of organic zinc decreased (P<0.05) the concents of serum urea nitrogen, and increased (P<0.05) serum alkalie phosphatase, and glutamate-pyruvate transaminase, and glutarnic- Oxal (O) acetic transaminase activities, CuZnSOD activities n the pancreas. The addition of organic zinc improved (P<0.05) Villous height and V/C of Jejunum and Villous width of Ileum. The addition of the organic zinc improved the growth performance, health status, and gut morphology of weanling piglets, and tended to increase tissue zinc concentrations of weanling piglets. The addition of 60 mg/kg Zn was more effective than that of 40 mg/kg Znin improving the growth performance of piglets.
