It is very significant for maize production to transfer form material production to a combination of cropping,animal husbandry and proseccing.In this study, in order to combine the maize production with its value of feeding and provide reasonable theoretical foundation for different maize varieties production of high quality,yield,efficience.the maize for food and feed:JinJi 1 and silage maize:DinfLingBai,KeShi 1 were used to investigate their nutrition quality and production charactics. The main results are as follows: Different types maize had different ecological adaptability because of different growth periods, population structure and physiological characteristics. Dry matter accumulation amounts was DLB >JJ3 > KS1, fresh matter accumulation amounts was KS1> DLB>JJ3 . Nutrients content of every organ and whole plant crop of different types maize was different,the same as the nutrients distribution in organs. Representation of whole plant crop nutrients content: content of crude protein was JJ3> DLB > KS1 in 9/20; the highest crude fat was JJ3, followed by general maize is DLB, KS1 was the lowest; crude fiber content of special silage maize KS1was higher than DLB, JJ3 was the lowest; content of crude ashes was KS1 >DLB >JJ3; content of naught nitrogen lixivium was JJ3 > KS1 > DLB.The maturity of maize had obviously effects on forage nutritive value.The experimental results showed that: JJ3 could be harvested in 9/20 or shunt of that properly,its grains and stalk could be used separately (stalk it be silaged); the appropriate harvesting date of KS1& DLB was 9/20 or ahead properly, and silage maize was suitable to their using.
