Crop improvement for High inorganic phosphorus (HIP) variety may fortify microelement availability, decrease environmental pollution. In this study, mixed particle field(CR), 7Li ion beams andγrays were used to induce mutations of high inorganic phosphorus content in two winter wheat genetypes ZY9 and ZH7. Characterization of the homozygous HIP mutants in respect of agronomic, biochemical and molecular level was also carried out. The results are as following.The HIP mutation frequency of CR195Gy in winter wheat genetype ZY9 M2:3 generation was 1.40%, and the CR284Gy in ZY9 M2:3 was 3.51%. The mutation frequency of CR195Gy in winter wheat genetype ZY9 was higher than that of CR284Gy. Use 7Li ion beams implantation to ZY9 with the dosages 50Gy, 100Gy, 150Gy, and the HIP mutation frequency of the M2:3 generation were 0.41%,1.05%,0.91%, respectively. The HIP mutation frequency of 7Li 100Gy was higher than that of 7Li 50Gy and 7Li 150Gy. The HIP mutation frequency ofγ195Gy (1.21%) was higher than that ofγ284Gy (0.92%).The HIP mutation frequency of CR195Gy in winter wheat variety ZH7 M2:3 generation was 4.12%, and the CR284Gy in ZH7 M2:3 was 5.24%. The mutation frequency of CR284Gy in winter wheat genetype ZH7 was higher than that of CR195Gy. Use 7Li ion beams implantation to ZH7, with the dosages 30Gy,50Gy,100Gy,150Gy, and the HIP mutation frequency of the M2:3 generation were 5.54%, 4.78%, 1.98%, 4.13%, respectively. The HIP mutation frequency ofγ284Gy (3.70%) was higher than that ofγ195Gy (2.69%).The homozygosis high inorganic phosphorus mutants HIP-y1 from 284Gyγrays irradiation in ZY9 and HIP-h1 from 150Gy 7Li ion beams implantation in ZH7 were obtained. The content of inorganic phosphorus (IP) of the HIP mutant was significant different from their parents. The content of IP in HIP-y1 grains was 0.9560mg/g comparing to its parent 0.1441mg/g, and 1.0649mg/g in HIP-h1 grains but 0.1559mg/g in its original parent. The inorganic phosphorus content of the two mutants HIP-y1 and HIP-h1 increased by 5.63 and 5.83 times than original parent, respectively.The plant height, spike length and spikelets number of HIP-y1 is similar to ZY9, valid specula and seeds specula is more than ZY9. The plant height, valid specula, Spike length, specula number and seeds specula number of HIP-h1 is similar to ZH7, but the 1000-grain weight is few than ZH7. The Primer of OPK-03 can separating HIP-y1 from ZY9, and the Primer of OPK-03 can separating HIP-h1 from ZH7.
