The data used in this study were collected from the data of sample plots investigate and soil investigate in 10 sample plots for different types of Korean pine forests in Liangshui Nature Reserve, Lesser Xing'an Moutains, northeast China. Based on comparing the natural Korean pine forests, simplex Korean pine plantations, mixed broadleaved-Korean pine plantations, and light penetrate gaps forests which after the light penetrate gaps foster, The stand structure, spatial distribution patterns of stumpage, significant value and survival curve of important tree species for different types of Korean pine forests, as well as the difference among the soil chemical properties for different types of Korean pine forests were studied. The results indicated that: (1) The diameter structure of natural Korean pine forests, simplex Korean pine plantations, mixed broadleaved- Korean pine plantations, and light penetrate gaps forests under the same stand condition are all distributing as inverse "J" basically, i. e. the diameter structure distributing degressively. The inverse "J" distribution of Korean pine in Korean pine forests which after the light penetrate gaps foster is the most evident. As a result of the update pace is slow and haven't artificial management for a long time, the natural Korean pine forests have a few number under the small diameter steps and some diameter steps have lost. (2)The spatial distribution patterns of Korean pine forests which after the light penetrate gaps foster distribute in cluster, but the spatial distribution patterns of natural Korean pine forests, simplex Korean pine plantations, and mixed broadleaved- Korean pine plantations under the same stand condition are distribute random. (3) The significant value ratio of Korean pine and the sum of the other broadleaved species approach 1 by 1, is a steady stand structure comparatively. (4) The forest of light penetrate gaps foster is propitious to the steady of important species in the fores, the survival curve of important species all approach to beeline in comparative Korean pine forests, and all pass the markedness checkout of linearity regression. (5) The forest of light penetrate gaps foster is propitious to the enhance the content of soil nutrient, the content of available N, available P. available K, total N and total P in light penetrate gaps forests is higher than other forests, are 1.1 times. 1.4 times, 1.3 times, 1.6 times and 1.2 times of average value separately. (6)The average value of soil nutrient content in each area is dropped with the deepen of soil laver basically. This studv compare with the light penetrate gaps forests which after the light penetrate gaps foster, provides scientific accordance to close-to-natural management of Korean pine plantations in future.
