Plant is one of the most important resouses in human life.It is all known that plant mature cell wall, which make up of most plant resouse, have lost its ability of loosing itself to elongate. Consequently, research in plant cell wall rigidity do be the greatest goods.Calcium ions were detected and estimated in both young, plastic and mature cell walls, using potassium pyroantimonate procedure along the growth gradient. Density of cell wall calcium increase from young walls to mature walls, mature cell walls were characterized by a high content of calcium ions. After finding most reliable cell wall rigidity mechanism. We began to research cell wall rigidity mechanism of high fugus which also have elonging grows alike green plant, and using Flammulina velutipes as our research object.Another calcium gradient was fond in Flammulina velutipes stipe cell walls, in which there is elongating growth alike higher plant. Calcium ions increase from growth center to base in stipe cell wall during rapid elongation period, but vanish from middle to base when rapid elongationperiod is over.
