The Study On Producing Technique For The Cotton Seed Dressing Agent

Cotton is one of the important economic crops in Gansu province. Recently thedisease and insect pest in cotton is more serious in Gansu province. Compounds ofnutritionally active ingredients in seed coating specific for cotton in Gansu were screenedincluding pesticides and fungicides besides nutrients and plant growth regulators (PGR).Afew results have been obtained as follows:1) The two products seed dressing agent (SD) was bom. It contains 4.1%micro-fertilizer and growth regulator, 5% film-former, 5% carriers, 5% emulsifier 3%ethandiol, 0.1% XG and 0.02% preservative.2) The study on producing technique for the cotton seed dressing agent, showed thatthe processing should include mixing, wet-crushing, sandblast, recycling, sandblast,modulating, emulsifying, and packing.3) Toxicity measurement of the two seed dressing was studied in lab. The resultsshowed that the two products both have the good preventing and controlling effect to thecotton seedling stage plant disease and the seedling stage. Especially could inhibit thegrowth of Rhizoctonia solani. The test in Rhizoctonia solani showed that thecontrolling efficacy was 91.3% and 93.9%. Under the experimental medicamentprocessing condition, germinates to the cotton with the seedling grows are good. Therefor,the 1/50 of use dosage was recommended.
