Research Of The Query System Of Main Commercial Wood Species In The World Based On Web

Researching and analyzing the existing query systems of wood character and property inside and outside, this paper uses ASP,Dreamweaver MX 2000,SQL Server 2000 to build up the query system based on Web of main commercial wood species in the world. This system has realized using wood name,wood macro-character,wood micro-character,wood physical property to search wood information,with one key word or more key words.⑴Validating the existing commercial wood character and property,supplying the no information commercial wood character and property,comparing different wood species,all of these supply this database credible information。⑵Based on SQL Server 2000 and combining with wood own characters, this paper has build up database of main commercial wood species in the world. This database includes 75 families, 341genus, and 460species. All of these are the main commercial wood species in the market now.⑶Based on ASP, a technique making dynamic web page, this paper uses Dreamweaver MX 2000 to make programs to build up the query system of main commercial wood information. This system has realized querying wood information in sequence,using wood Latin name,Chinese name,English name and local name;at the same time, this system has realized converse query, using wood macro -character,wood micro-character and wood physical property.⑷Based on Web, this paper has build up the query system of main commercial wood species in the world. The system is running well.User can use this system to query wood information on the internet at any time and everywhere. This system and no mistake provides services for wood researchers,teachers who teach wood knowledge,wood merchants and so on. At last, this system promotes the informatization of the wood science and technology.
