The Breeding And Application Of Hybrid Maize Variety Gongzhu No.1 With Good-quality And High Yield And Strong Resistance

Hybird maize variety Gongzhu No.1 was bred by Ji853(fmale) and HN1(male)on the Gongzhuling city by Pomology institute of JiLin GongZhuLing city Acadermy ofAgricutural Sciences in the of 2000. The results of 2003 provincal yield test showed: The averageyield is 11460.8kg/ha, increasing by 16.9％compared with Jidan180 and ranking No. 1 of allrested varieties. In the extenting trials of 2004～2005,the average yield is 10947 kg/ha,increasing by 14.7％compared with Jidan180 and ranking No.3 of all rested varieties. In themiddle or late corn growing trials of 2005, the average yield is 9841.0 kg/ha, increasing by 14.0％compared with Jidan 180 and ranking No. 8 of all rested varieties.This variety has good grainquality and high yield and very Resistance and 72.89％of it is starch. It has a strong resistence toall kinds of leaf spots, head smut, stem rot and cornborer. It can adapt to various soil environmentand has broad agronomic traits. Generally the yeild is 10749.7 kg/ha.
