Study On The Exploitation And Utilization Of Peashrub Feedstuff

Peashrub (Caragana korshinskii Kom), also named Peashrub caragana arborescens, big Peashrub,dichotomanthes tristaniaecarpa is a kind of perennial deciduous shrubs belonging to the Legumes family. As a leading plant of improving ecological environment, Peashrub has played an important role in wind break and sand fixation, environment protection, ecological construction and widely cultivated in north dry land. For tolerance to grazing, Peashrub is the good feedstuff for cow and sheep in summer and autumn. However, its taste was inferior, and utilization rate of Peashrub was only about 20 percent under the naturally grazing. These hobbled seriously its exploitation and virtual utilized. The digestion and feeding experiment were conducted to provide technical parameter of Peashrub products processing and develop new methods to use it. The conclusion is:(1) Peashrub can make the high nutritive value rabbits feed. Rabbits had high digestibility to peashrub: crude protein digestibility was 70.47-88.60 percent; crude fiber: 50.16-84.36 percent; crude oil was beyond 98.80 percent.(2) Peashrub leaves can make silage feed. With the supplement 5 percent it shows good body weight and feed efficiency also the supplement content should be controlled lower than 10 percent.(3) It can be made the crude feed of dairy cow. It can be an alternative of crude feed during the lake of feed in late spring of Yulin. It also can maintain normal milk production level ,and increasingly promote the butterfat, lactoprotein, milk sugar, dry matter, and so on.(4) Peashrub can be use as the basic forage grass for white goat in winter and spring season. 50% following be suitable for adding amounts: when the proportion of Peashrub in the forage was 50% below, the increase of the weight of white goats was normally as equal as using maize straw, when the proportion of Peashrub in the feedstuff was 65%, its effect of the weight increased was less than the others groups.(5) Peashrub powder can be as one of a forage for rabbit,10%~20% be suitable for adding amounts: its characters have no distinct change(P>0.05), which when adds Peashrub powder into rabbit's forage such as feed intake, weight increment daily,the proportion between meat and feed, etc. When the content of Peashrub powder add up to 30%, the feed intake has change obviously(P<0.05). thereby, effect on the index to the weight increment daily , the proportion between meat and feed, the weight of body , killing out percentage , meat percentage , heart , liver , kidney, etc.(6) The production of Peashrub feedstuff has widest foreground, it would make batter benefit in a low cost. The city has more than eight millions of flocks and herds, and forty millions peashrub feedstuff would been consumed in one day; the price of Peashrub feedstuff was 0.56yuan pre kilogramme; Peashrub was a perennial plant, it could been used many time after planting.
