The experiment subjedts chosed the agematched Yingjing wool Rabbit, Tianfu Rabbit and California Rabbit, through PCR Direct Sequencing to analyze the hereditary effect between FGF5 gene exonⅠand exonⅢand production characters such as yield of wool, carcass yield and feed conversion ratio. The result indicate:Three SNPs were found in FGF5 gene exonⅠand exonⅢ. In exonⅠthe TCT locu, allea A is dominant, gene frequency is 0.800 in Yingjing wool Rabbit, allea B is dominant, gene frequency is 0.900~0.950 in meat rabbit; in exonⅢthe 1 locu, allea C is dominant, gene frequency is 0.750 in Yingjing wool Rabbit, allea T is dominant, gene frequency is 0.775~0.825 in meat rabbit; in exonⅢthe 2 locu, allea T is dominant, gene frequency is 0.600, 0.575~0.650 respective, in Yingjing wool Rabbit and meat rabbit. FGF5 gene exonⅠthe TCT locu PIC is 0.174, low polymorphism; FGF5 gene exonⅢthe 1 and 2 locu PIC is 0.280 and 0.363, midrange polymorphism.In Yingjing wool Rabbit, a significant positive phenotypic correlation were found between body weight of Nov. and yield of wool of Nov. (P<0.01), body weight of Nov. and body weight of Jan. (P<0.01), yield of wool of Nov. and body weight of Jan. (P<0.01), body weight of Jan. and yield of wool of Jan. (P<0.01).We did not find there were linkages between FGF5 and yield of wool,body weight and feed conversion ratio in exonⅠthe TCT locu in Yingjing wool Rabbit through least squares means. Least squsres means analysis showed, in Yingjing wool Rabbit, 1 locu in exonⅢof FGF5 gene there was a significant difference between genetype CC and TT on the yield of wool of Nov. (P<0.01), a significant difference between genetype TC and TT on the body weight of Jan. (P<0.05), a significant difference between genetype CC and TT on the yield of wool of Jan. (P<0.01), 2 locu in exonⅢof FGF5 gene there was a significant difference between genetype TC and TT on the yield of wool of Nov. and Jan. (P<0.05).In Tianfu and Califomia Rabbit, there were not significant correlations between FGF5 gene and carcass yield,feed conversion ratio,cooked meat percentage,drip of water loss (P>0.05).The correlation analysis between FGF5 gene and the rabbit production characters showed FGF5 gene can be used as analytic markers in wool rabbit in Yingjing wool yield character chooses to inherit the marker, and for the further research between other wool animals and FGF5 gene provides the theories according to.
