This research under existing experimental condition, As supplies take 4 overseasintroductions varieties:Echo, Gondolin, Mystic, BargenaⅡto try the material, evaluated underfour Level of shade degree(0%, 30%—35%, 50%—55%, 70%—75% of full sunlight, representedby CK, T1, T2, T3 respectively) provided by 3 types of shade cloth, researched the effects on themorphological structure, physiological and biochemical characteristics and Photosyntheticcharacteristics of varieties of red fescue under different shade condition, the purpose of thisexperiment is to find technical reference for shade-tolerance variety choice of red fescue undershade condition. the main results were showed as following:1. Shade significantly increases the leaf length, leaf width and internodes of four varieties of red fescue, stem diameter decreased, leaf became thin. the angle of leaf and stem decreased, each variety tend to upwards growth, in order to obtain more light energy to Carries on the vital activity.2. Carries on the observation of red fescue to discover, Its leaf has the developed sponge tissue, no typical palisade tissues, The volume of mesophyll cell in stem of various materials under shade is bigger, the cell wall is thin, The cell majority is fill with cell sap and the degree of Lignification is worse.3. Chlorophyll contents of all grasses increased along with the increment of shade level, chla/b ratio of grasses reduced. By Chlorophyll contents increase and chla/b ratio dropto Judges for the Shade-Tolerance: Gondolin>Echo>Mystic>BargenaⅡ.4. Leaf soluble sugar contents under shade treatment decreased when compared with fu ll sunlight. The drop scope size is in turn: BargenaⅡ>Mystic>Echo>Gondolin.5. The soluble protein contents of leaf affected by shadings, compared with full sunlight soluble protein contents of four varieties under shade treatment decreased significantly.If by it drop scope size to Judges for the Shade-Tolerance, Echo is strongest, contentsof Mystic and Gondolin under shade were no significant difference from others, BargenaⅡis weaker.6. The light compensation point and saturation point of red fescue decreased as shading levels increasing, If use Plasticity index to express the drop degree of compensation point:(max-least)/max, Then during various varieties the Shade-Tolerance strong and the weak is: Gondolin>Echo>BargenaⅡ>Mystic.7. Above synthesis conclusion, under shade condition variety Gondolin of red fescueDisplays a stronger light acclimation than other three varieties, Is worth in providing shade afforests promotes.
