Studies On The Technique Of Estrus Synchronization And Artificial Insemination Of Red Deer

The techniques of estrus synchronization and artificial insemination of Red Deer were somesignificant technical method for generalization and application of Red Deer elite, which hadsignificance in the dilemma of deer farming. Based on the estrus synchronization and its detection,in the research Red Deer was subjected to artificial insemination. The effects of time, mode,effective spermatozoa and site of semen deposition and different egg laying hormone on pregnancyrate of Red Deer had been studied, the results was as below:1. In sexual season, satisfactory estrus synchronization effect could be gained by the method ofCIDR and the method of twice PG. the same Pregnancy effect could be gained by estrussynchronization, induction estrus and natural estrus.The technique could take place of natural estrusand was used to breed Red Deer. The double-fetus rate could be elevated. In estrus synchronization,the dose of PMSG ought not to exceed 600IU.2. Before sexual seasons, because of induction estrus, the breeding of doe could be carried outahead of schedule and Pregnancy rate of doe was equal to Pregnancy rateof natural estrus doe.3. The ovulatory time after estrus was different between the doe of natural estrus and the doe ofestms synchronization. Best semen deposition opportunity was 10～12 hours after estrus in the doeof natural estrus, 6～8 hours after estrus for the doe of estrus synchronization and 55～57hours afterabscising CIDR for the doe of once timing semen deposition.4. Both the effect of twice timing semen deposition and the effect of semen deposition after estrussynchronization 6～8 hours were better than the effect of once timing semen deposition. Both theeffect of twice timing semen deposition and the effect of semen deposition after estrussynchronization 6～8 hours achieved the same satisfactory effect.5. when deposition was carried out, effective semen number should not be lower than 12.5millions. middle section insemination of body of uterus was the best semen deposition location.6. The pregnancy rate of doe could be increased by injecting LRH-A₃,LH and HCG, but which didn't have notable difference in the pregnancy rate of doe.The research provided theory basis for generalization and implement of Red Deer artificialinsemination and technical foundation for process of Red Deer elite by the techniques of estrussynchronization and moment semen deposition of Red Deer.
