Through using the different quantities of Super-absorbent polymers, the effect of the super-absorbent polymers on the growth and some physiological characteristics of Ceratoides arborescens was studied on under the condition of the pot-cultivation and in Maowusu sandy land.The results of the pot-cultivation showed: the survival period of Ceratoides arborescens lengthened, the biomass of seeding were higher increased,the physiological characteristics of drought resistance of Ceratoides arborescens slowly changed,the application of Ceratoides arborescens could alleviate the drought-resistance,under the environment of drought-resistance.The application of super-absorbent polymers could decelerate the leaves water content,decrease the MDA content,improve chlorophyll content, raised photosynthesis rate.which was show from some physiological index and Morphological index. After use Super-absorbent polymers , application of Ceratoides arborescens become much better. It is Basic results that improving the supply water capabilities of soil and alleviated the injury of water dress.It was the significant relationship between the quantities of super-absorbent polymers and the abilities to drought Resistance of seeding on field experimental. The supply water capabilities of soil and the growth and the survival of seeding was raised whith the increase of the quantity of super-absorbent polymers. That change become more significant along more serious water dress.The studies result of using super-absorbent polymers technology showed: The effect of mixed soil treatment ,which the best proportion was 1:100; The effect was much better on mixed soil treatment than on soaking root treatment.The results of the Maowusu sandy land showed: it was the best effect that using Super-absorbent polymers with Nitrogenous fertilizer.Its reason was lower soil nutritional level in Maowusu sandy land; The survival rate and the biomass of Ceratoides arborescens was higher used super-absorbent polymers alone than the comparison;And the gowth of Ceratoides arborescens was Worse after 2006 July.
