With the increasing of Bt crops, It's important to research the degradation of Bt protein in stalks. In order to know the degradation in stalks of Bt soybeans, we treated the stalks (none transfer Bt gene soybean stalks as CK) under different conditions (on the soil, under the soil, in river and under fermentation), and detected the Bt protein by Elisa in this experiment. Results as follow:1. The contents of Bt protein in root, stem, leaf and pod of soybean are significantly different. They are 753.0868ng/g, 630.1677ng/g, 1053.397ng/g and 241.254ng/g, respectively.2. In different treatments, the degradation of Bt protein among these treatments (on the surface of field, 30cm under the surface and fermentation). The degradation ratio from high to low in order is 30cm under the surface, on the surface of field and fermentation. 3. Degradation ratio of Bt protein in root, stem, leaf and pod of Bt soybean showed: The degradation ratio from high to low in order is in pod, root, stem and leaf.4. The degradation percentage of toxic protein in stalks under different treatments showed: The highest is the treatment after 10 days. From 10 days to 30 days, degradation percent changes smoothly, and after 30 days, almost no toxic protein can be detected.
