Plant height constitution was the important agronomic traits that affected yield of maize and lodging resistance and ecological adaptability. Plant height and ear height are the important agronomic traits affecting yield , lodging and adaptability of maize . Analyse deeply trait of plant height of maize and identified these trait, there is a important academic meaning and applied value. molecular maker linkage map was construct with DH population derived from "Nong xi110×Nong xi531",and investigated the traits of 83 DH lines then quantitative trait loci (QTL) associated traits related plant height were identified and analyzed, and discussed the molecular genetic mechanism, and offerred theory and referrence for improving the traits of plant height constitution. The major results are as follows:1. The major traits related to plant structure of 83 DH lines showed that the middle internode length affected plant height significantly;Ear height was controlled by basal internode length ; The near internode length cooperate with each other in the course of growth.2. The quantitative trait loci(QTLs) of these traits were identified from 2006 to 2007. The 36 QTLs were identified for the traits of plant height, ear height and internode length, which were responsible for 4.73%-48.75% phenotypic variation respectively, and each trait ranging from 1 to 8 QTLs respectively phenotypic variation in 2006 of lower density. The 40 QTLs were identified for the traits of plant height, ear height and internode length, which were responsible for 7.98%-43.24% phenotypic variation respectively, and each trait ranging from 1 to 5 QTLs respectively phenotypic variation in 2006 of lower density. The 34 QTLs were identified for the traits of plant height, ear height and internode length, which were responsible for 6.25%- 50.96% phenotypic variation respectively, and each trait ranging from 1 to 5 QTLs respectively phenotypic variation in 2007 of higher density.3.The same QTL was identified for the trait of plant height, ear height and internode length in different densities in two years, which was detected on the first chromosome, and this was a very important QTL that controlled plant height.
