In this paper, test material was Xinluzao No. 13 .In indoor conditions on the biogas slurry soaking the cotton germination potential, the germination rate of root growth and the impact of research in the fields of the biogas slurry sprayed on foliage and soaked cotton growth and yield. The results were as follows:1. Biogas slurry soaked cotton seed germination potential, the germination rate, root length, root weight and dry matter weight were higher than those seeds soaked with water, and 50 percent concentration of biogas fluid immersion, promoted the germination of seeds with the time, and to 100 percent concentration of biogas fluid immersion, in a short period of time can promote seed germination. 100 percent concentration of biogas slurry to soak 8h was the best seed germination.2. The germination rates of all treatments by soaking with biogas slurry were more than control, higher than average from 0.5% to 3.5%, the germination rate of soaking 8h was up to 85.5 percent. Biogas slurry soaking treatment, single boll weight, seed index that was higher than the control, of which soaking 8h was the best, lint percentage increased by 1.1%, single-boll weight increased 0.3 g, seed index increased by 0.11, compared to control. The number of single plant boll of all treatments increased by 0.1 to 0.5. Although the chlorophyll content and dry matter accumulation of the biogas slurry soaking treatment were higher, the yield was little difference among all treatments.3. Using biogas slurry at seeding stage, bud stage and flowering stage could increase the chlorophyll contents of leaves and the dry matter quantity. Compared with control, the effects were that plant height increased by 3.6 percent; Stem diameter increased by 13.0 percent; Boll number per plant increased by 16.3 percent; Fruit-bearing branch number increased 12.3 percent and seed cotton yield increased by 30.5 percent.4. Soaking seeds with digested slurry which enhanced early sprouting of seed, flower bud and flowering made the effective boll developing period earlier so that the effective boll developing period appeared when there were most light, heat, water and promoted more boll setting, earlier boll opening and more blossom before frost. Spraying foliage in the cotton growing in various periods can provide nutrition, delaying premature senility leaves, for photosynthesis, to increase production purposes.
