With the rapid development of ecological tourism in China, people begin to realize the value of the natural scenery which has many special features and characters. It is well known that the scenic forest plays an important role on improving and recovering environments, besides it has very high aesthetic value too. Therefore, how to combine the ecology rationality and the effectiveness of tree species'selection and arrangement becomes the focus of this study.The Badaling Great Wall is the world famous scenic and historic resort, and the scenic forest plays an important part in this area. Based on collection and classification of data in Badaling forest farm, some new techniques are applied, such as GIS data processing and spatial analysis,Scanning Vectorization, modern remote sensing technical, etc. This thesis first collects the terrain information and then builds DEM for the studied areas. Using the result of digitalization and spatial analysis, new plot regionalization is built. Based on this, it takes quantitative analysis and evaluation in the scenic spot of Badaling farm. At last, this article puts forward different model of tree species'selection and arrangement according to the evaluation. In the landscape sensitivity grade I regions, tree species should be selected and arranged since they have more landscape value. In the landscape sensitivity grade II regions, the color should be emphasized rather than versicolor. In the landscape sensitivity grade III regions, the ecological benefit should be the main issue.
