The west Beijing mountain area landscape is the important place where Beijing residents relax,close to nature and entertainment. So, how to r improve the forest landscape is one important job of the forest management of Beijing. In this paper, we take west forest as the research object, combining with remote sensing data, research the landscape patch of part of weijiacun forest. Otherwise, we research the relationship between the impact factors with landscape quality. As well as, a comprehensive evaluation system of landscape elements was constructed on the foreground landscape,middle landscape and prospect landscape, then, we use the evaluation system to evaluate the weijiacun landscape quality. The main conclusions are as follows:Analysis on landscape patch of weijiacun forest shows that:There are1069 patches, patch density is 2.43 each hectares, patch average area is 0.41 hectares, patch shape index is 1.21. Both at area and number, pure forest patches are more than mixed forest in study area. Pure forest area is 313.37 hectares, is landscape area' 71%, but mixed forest area is 125.79 hectares, only is landscape area' 29%. Pure forest is 851 patches, mixed forest is 218 patches; Pure forest' shape index is less than mixed forest. Pinus tabulaeformis pure forest patches'shape index is 1.08, mixed forest patches' shape index is 1.49. Pinus tabulaeformis and Platycladus orientalis pure forest patches' area are bigger than other forest patches.On the base of field investigation and landscape photography, using of SBE, analysis the relationship between crown levels, patch pattern, patch density, patch colour diversity,forest coverage and SBE. Crown levels in the tree height difference is less than 1/2 range, along with the increase of crown level differences, its SBE value is getting higher and higher. Recreations are more like distributed and random distribution. Patch number from 2 to 4 has the highest SBE value. Below four kinds of color, as patches color increasing, the SBE value is higher. The SBE value is increasing with the forest coverage.Under the help of the hierarchical analysis, reference previous studies, through consulting experts and combining filed investigation experience, on landscapes in near distance vision, middle distance vision and far distance vision, a comprehensive evaluation system was constructed. In order to guide production, each index has a score. And then, using the system, the quality of the forest landscape in weijiacun was assessed. The result shows that the overall value is 32.33 points and the quality of forest landscape was little poor, so the forest in the zone should be adjusted.
